Nelson Páramo

Colombian coffee, recognized worldwide for its excellence, finds one of its main protagonists in the Huila region. Located in the southwest of the country, this area stands out for its ideal climate and fertile lands, providing the perfect conditions for coffee cultivation.

Nelson Páramo, a traditional Colombian coffee farmer, sees coffee not just as a crop, but as a way of life. 20 years ago, he inherited the family farm, called El Manantial, in Guadalupe, located 40 minutes from the rural area via an unpaved road. There, coffee is intertwined with food production for self-consumption, following the high quality standards passed down by his father.

After harvesting, the beans are carefully selected and subjected to a controlled fermentation process that enhances their unique flavors and characteristics. This meticulous washing method ensures a high-quality cup of coffee, reflecting Nelson's care and dedication at every stage of the process.
