Manuel Rivasplata is a coffee producer whose life is marked by years of effort, dedication, and love for the land. With 20 years of experience in coffee cultivation, he has perfected his art at Finca El Limón, where he grows varieties like Caturra and Yellow Caturra, known for their complex flavors that, combined with the microclimates offered by Santa Teresa, develop unique profiles. Although his family always focused on other crops such as corn, sugarcane, beans, and barley, it was coffee that captured his heart and vocation. In it, he found his true passion, which has led him to become a reference in his community.

Five years ago, Manuel decided to join the Aromas del Valle cooperative, where he has found the necessary support to improve the quality of his coffee and expand his horizons. This support has been crucial to his growth, providing him with access to knowledge through technical assistance, financial products, and markets that once seemed unattainable. Throughout the years, his commitment to excellence has been unwavering, and today he dedicates himself to getting the best out of each harvest, ensuring that his coffee is recognized not only for its quality but also for his dedication to a job well done.

PROCESS

After selective harvesting, the coffee undergoes anaerobic fermentation for 120 hours. It is then washed and sun-dried until it reaches its optimal moisture content.
