Luis surprises us with this Papayo—bright and tropical, with milky notes, blood orange, and delicate floral hints. A very creamy and elegant coffee.

Detailed Information
Each season, we travel to Colombia to visit the Department of Huila, one of the best areas in the country for growing healthy, high-yielding coffee plants. Last year, Joaquín participated as a judge in the municipal championship in Guadalupe, where several emerging producers presented their coffees. This allowed us to connect with Luis, who presented his coffee and achieved 2nd place.
Luis Carlos Guzmán is a third-generation producer, following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents. In 2009, he acquired his farm, El Diviso, located in the mountainous region of Huila. His experience, rooted in tradition, combined with his pioneering and meticulous approach to fermentation and drying processes, is making him stand out in the region with his lots.
After a selective harvest, the coffee is washed and then sun-dried for about 20 days until it reaches optimal moisture.

Roasting and Shipping
We roast to order, which means we don't keep roasted coffee in stock at the shop. As a matter of routine, we have three roasting days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (excluding public holidays). If you place your order before 8:00 a.m. on one of those days, your coffee will be roasted that same day; otherwise, it will be roasted the next day. Orders are sent to their destination the day after they are toasted (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday respectively). Please note that if your order does not contain coffee, it will be shipped the next business day after it is placed and will arrive at its destination within the following 48 hours (excluding holidays). Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process.
