Comunidad Queromarca Espresso

This coffee is part of our direct trade initiative with producers in the Cajamarca region of Peru. Specifically, this lot is made up of coffee production from several families belonging to the village of Queromarca.

Queromarca is a community located in an area privileged by its microclimates and fertile soils, conditions that allow for consistent production of high-quality coffee. The climate, altitude, and rich soil directly influence the bean's development, resulting in a well-structured coffee with exotic profiles.

The coffee is grown by small family producers who work their own plots and apply responsible agricultural practices, focusing on quality from planting to harvest.

This coffee represents the collective effort of an organized community that combines favorable natural conditions with responsible work and social commitment.

The coffee harvest is selective; only cherries at their optimal ripeness are processed. After discarding floats, the coffee is pulped and anaerobically fermented for 60 hours.

Once this time has passed, the beans are washed in tanks with clean water, and then dried on African beds under a solar tent for 15-18 days until their optimal moisture content is achieved.
