Detailed Information
This lot is part of our direct trade initiative in Colombia: every season we travel to visit the Department of Huila, one of the best areas in the country for coffee plant growth and yield. Our last trip led us to connect with Patricia Calderón, an emerging coffee grower in the area.
On her farm, Las Palmeras, located at 1,750 meters above sea level, Patricia cultivates several varieties, including Catuai, Caturra, Catimor, and Castillo. She focuses on increasing the quality of her lots every year.
After manual harvesting, the coffee is washed and taken to the solar dryer where it rests for approximately 20 days until it reaches the appropriate moisture content.

Roasting and Shipping
We roast to order, which means we don't keep roasted coffee in stock at the shop. As a matter of routine, we have three roasting days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (excluding public holidays). If you place your order before 8:00 a.m. on one of those days, your coffee will be roasted that same day; otherwise, it will be roasted the next day. Orders are sent to their destination the day after they are toasted (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday respectively). Please note that if your order does not contain coffee, it will be shipped the next business day after it is placed and will arrive at its destination within the following 48 hours (excluding holidays). Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process.
