Cold Brew

Cold Brew is a beverage made by steeping ground coffee in water for hours. This method, which you'll particularly enjoy in warmer months, preserves the coffee's personality and allows us to discover other ways to enjoy our usual caffeine.

Quick tips

  • Play with the grind until you find your sweet spot

Start with a medium/coarse grind and adjust according to the in-cup result. A small variation can completely change the coffee's profile.

  • Divide the extraction into two pours

Instead of adding all the coffee and water at once, incorporate the second half of the coffee at 3 minutes. This promotes a more even and balanced extraction.

  • Use filtered water and freshly roasted coffee

They are two variables that have a huge impact on the final result and allow for a better appreciation of the origin's characteristics.

  • Let the Cold Brew sit undisturbed

Once prepared, keep it in the refrigerator for 6 hours and avoid shaking the container to achieve a cleaner and more stable extraction.

  • Filter concentrate before serving

Running it through one or two paper filters removes sediment and improves the drink's clarity. Then, serve it straight or with ice, according to your preference.
