Frequently asked questions
What is a subscription?
How does it work?
Access “Subscriptions” on the website and click “Get Started”; the process is very simple:
1. Choose the roast type: filter or espresso, depending on your brewing method. We develop specific profiles for each.
2. Select the subscription type: whether you are looking for consistency or discovery.
3. Define the quantity and shipping frequency.
Once configured, your subscription is active, and you can modify or cancel it from your profile. Please note that any changes must be made before the renewal date. Once the order is renewed, it is processed automatically.
What is the difference between the 'Essentials' and 'Specials' subscriptions?
Essentials
High-quality, freshly roasted batches with controlled rotation that optimizes price without compromising the experience of each cup. Designed for those who always want to have coffee at home. You will receive the same coffee 2–3 consecutive times on average.
Specials
Exceptional micro-lots to discover the full complexity of coffee. Designed for those looking to explore. You will receive a different coffee each month, selected by our roaster: try different varieties, origins, and processes.
Can I choose my coffee or know which one I'm going to get?
Subscriptions are designed so you don't have to worry about choosing and can trust our judgment. For both subscriptions, the selection is made by the roaster, differentiating between:
Essentials Subscription: based on freshness, traceability, and direct trade.
Specials Subscription: we want to surprise you every month with exceptional microlots of different profiles, origins, and processes.
Is there a minimum contract term?
There are no commitments, you can cancel your subscription at any time, without obligation.
Can I change my subscription?
Yes, you can easily change the frequency, quantity, address or pause/cancel it from your profile.
Just note that any changes must be made before the renewal date. Once the order is renewed, it is processed automatically.
Why can't I cancel an order that has already been processed?
We work with fresh coffee, roasted to order.
We do not keep roasted coffee in stock, so once an order is processed, it enters the production process and cannot be canceled.
Can I get ground coffee?
For all subscriptions, we send whole bean coffee only, so it is not possible to receive ground coffee. This way, we ensure that the quality and freshness remain intact until the moment of preparation.
If you want to purchase a grinder and have any questions, write to us and we'll help you choose the one that best suits you.
How much is shipping?
The cost is calculated based on the destination and will be displayed automatically at checkout.
Please note:
- Free shipping in mainland Spain for orders over €50
- Balearic Islands and the rest of Europe for orders over €90
How long will my order take to arrive?
We roast on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (excluding holidays). Orders with coffee are shipped the day after roasting.
- Peninsula, Balearic Islands (major islands) and Portugal: 24–48 business hours from dispatch
- International: between 1 and 7 days, depending on destination
During periods of high demand (Christmas, sales, holidays), logistical delays may occur.
A practical tip: if possible, use an address where someone will be available during business hours.
Are returns accepted?
We do not accept returns of coffee, as we work with a fresh product roasted to order. You can read the full conditions in our Returns Policy.
If you have any problem with your subscription, you can write to us and we will review it with you.
Return policy
For COFFEE AND SUBSCRIPTION items, orders are roasted and prepared upon request and according to each buyer's preferences, so we will not accept exchanges or returns once the purchase has been confirmed (under Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
For EQUIPMENT and MERCHANDISE items, you have 14 calendar days from the receipt of the item to make a return, provided that the merchandise has not been opened or damaged and remains in its original packaging and with the seal intact. To initiate a return, you must send an email to pedidos@rightsidecoffee.com indicating your order number and a copy of the invoice. The costs of collection and return of the products will be at your expense and will be deducted at the time of refund, once the items have been received and checked.
Regardless of the product, if at the time of delivery of the order, it has any defect or flaw or you realize that you have received a product that does not correspond to your order, you must immediately contact us, within 24 hours from the receipt of the product, via our email address pedidos@rightsidecoffee.com, detailing your locator and a description of the problem.
