We understand that there's no magic without a trick. In our case, the trick lies in respecting and developing flavors defined by the previous steps at the source: the ripening of the fruit, the type of process we perform, along with the fermentation and drying of the seeds, are essential to our work. Through roasting, we can either respect or destroy this universe of flavors.
Our regular roast serves as a wildcard, meaning any of our batches can be brewed using any method—espresso, mocha, pour-over, French press, etc. This type of roast is known as "omniroast," and we aim for rounded, juicy, and balanced coffees with a balanced level of sweetness and acidity.

It's time to take it a step further. Filter coffee is typically a more delicate beverage, where Right Side Coffee seeks complexity—that is, the coffee sends us many different flavor messages. This includes clarity and definition: no unpleasant notes, and clear, noticeable attributes. Our new trick is based on roasting exclusively for filter coffee, selecting batches with a profile suited to this extraction method. We use lighter, clearer roasts where less caramelization of the sugars gives us the right definition in the beverage to truly make the magic happen. You'll find this type of roast identified as " Filter Roast " on the coffee menu of our website, where we'll offer a rotating selection.

Our custom roasting technique also allows us to offer consistently fresh specialty coffee, in this case using the filter coffee method.
WE REPEAT: Filter roasting is exclusively for filter coffee; it won't work for espresso or mocha. We encourage you to try this type of coffee and make it your everyday coffee. Long live filter coffee!
