We roast to order, which means that we do not have stock of coffee on the premises. As a routine we have three roasting days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Therefore, orders placed until 8:00 am on Monday will be roasted on Monday, those placed until 8:00 am on Tuesday will be roasted on Tuesday and orders placed until 8:00 am on Thursday will be roasted on Thursday.
That said, keep in mind these deadlines to calculate when your coffee will be roasted:
- Orders placed from Thursday to Monday (before 8 am) will be roasted on Monday.
- Orders placed from Monday (after 8:00 am) to Tuesday (before 8:00 am) will be roasted on Tuesday.
- Orders placed from Tuesday (after 8:00 am) to Thursday (before 8:00 am) will be roasted on Thursday.
Our three weekly roasting days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and orders leave for their destination the day after they are roasted (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday respectively). Please note that if your order does not contain coffee it will be shipped the next business day and will arrive at its destination within 48 hours (excluding holidays).
We ship by express courier for Peninsula and Balearic Islands (major islands), which means that once shipped, you should receive your package the next business day. Remember that sometimes transport companies, no matter how well they work and how nice they are, may have delays in delivery (especially in seasons like Christmas or Sales) so we advise you not to hurry too much to order your order, because to some extent this part is out of our hands 🙂
Another useful tip is to use your work address as the delivery address, since transport companies work during working hours and it is difficult for them to comply with our requests regarding delivery times.
For Europe and the rest of the world the delivery time varies between 1 and 7 days depending on the destination and you will find this information when choosing the shipping service in the final step of the purchase process.
Yes, registering is an optional step. However, by creating an account you will have all your information saved for future purchases and, believe it or not, it will save you effort in the future!
No, for now our only direct sales channel is through this website, but many of our customers, in addition to serving our coffee, have some of our products in their stores so you can take them home. If you are interested in finding out if there are any in your area, please ask us!
At the moment our roastery, located in Castelldefels (Barcelona), is only a place of production and we do not serve coffee beverages nor do we have a store open to the public.
If you have a business idea and would like to meet with us, be sure to contact us first through the form below or send us an email to info@rightsidecoffee.com so we can set up an appointment.
To pick up an order at our Castelldefels store it is important to note that we will send you an email when it is ready to be picked up. Please note that the opening hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Wednesday from 8.30am to 4pm and Friday from 10am to 2pm. If you use Google Maps just search for 'Right Side Coffee' and the application will guide you to us. Remember to bring your order number with you 😉.
Of course! Although we perform quality tests on a weekly basis we would be happy to receive any feedback on our coffees, whether good or not so good 😉.
Actually not only about the coffees, any comments about the operation of the website or the transport service will help us to know the state in which our packages are arriving and the service that these third parties are giving you.
We are fortunate to have Joaquín Parra on our team, the best roaster in Spain in coffee roasting in all the championships held to date. Joaquín is in charge of individually developing each of the roasting profiles of the coffees you see on the menu. This routine consists of respecting and developing flavors defined by the previous steps at origin.
So that you can fully enjoy the range of flavors that each batch has to offer, we recommend that you choose a roasting profile that adapts to your coffee maker. Here we leave you a summary so that you have it clear:
- Espresso Roast: Espresso coffee maker and Italian coffee maker (moka).
- Filter roasting: drip, immersion or cold brew coffee makers (V60, AeroPress, French press, Chemex, etc.).
- Super-Auto Roast: super-automatic coffee machines that require coffee beans, as they integrate a grinder (example: Jura machines).
We always advise you to choose to buy coffee beans. Even if this requires a small investment in a grinder, you will notice the difference!
Coffee, with time, oxidizes. And the time it takes to oxidize is drastically multiplied when the bean is already ground, which causes the loss of aroma, structure and flavor nuances in the cup.
If you need to buy a grinder, take a look at this section of our Store and if this plan does not convince you, do not worry, you can order it already ground during the purchase process and we will do it for you.
The subscription is a service through which we will periodically send you a selection of freshly roasted and seasonal coffees, while you will pay a regular fee according to your preferences in terms of frequency and quantity. No more complications.
If you want to dig deeper into the topic, we have prepared a series of answers to the most frequently asked questions in this section 🙂
Please note that in the case of CAFÉ items, orders are roasted and prepared at the request and according to the preferences of each buyer, so no changes or refunds will be accepted once the purchase has been confirmed (under Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
For EQUIPMENT items you have 14 calendar days from receipt of the item to make a return as long as the merchandise has not been opened or damaged and remains in its original packaging and with the seals intact. To initiate the return you must send an email to hello@rightsidecoffee.com indicating the Order Number and a copy of the invoice. The costs of collection and return of the products will be borne by the Customer and will be deducted at the time of reimbursement, once the items have been received and checked.
On the other hand, if you find any anomaly in the products received, you can notify us by e-mail to hello@rightsidecoffee.com detailing your locator and the description of the problem.
Please note that we will not accept refunds in case of non-delivery due to the absence of the recipient, so we recommend that you always enter a valid shipping address.
Shipping options may vary depending on the delivery address and type of order. For orders over 35€ (including coffee), shipping costs to the Peninsula will be free of charge.
To place an order, you must follow the online checkout procedure and authorize payment. During the checkout process, we will show you the available shipping methods, cost and estimated transit time. In addition, once confirmed you will receive an email with the status of your order and the tracking of the carrier once the goods have left our roastery 🙂
Please remember that we roast our coffees upon request (on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) and we carry out the whole process in an artisanal way, so please keep in mind our deadlines and delivery times mentioned above.
